Hello
Hello, my name is Juliet,
My journey into healing work began in 1999, when I started training in Reiki Jin Kei Do with Steve Gooch. This practice gave me a deep appreciation for energy, connection, and the body’s innate ability to heal. Alongside my background in health and social care, where more recently I have spent six fulfilling years working in a care home, these experiences have shaped my path and my commitment to supporting others.
After a car accident, I began experiencing persistent back pain, knee discomfort, and issues with my hands, which made it increasingly difficult to continue in my care role. As I searched for a new direction, I discovered the Spinal Flow Technique. I was immediately drawn to its gentle yet powerful approach, particularly its potential to support people living with chronic illness, physical pain, and mental health challenges.
Through receiving Spinal Flow sessions myself, I experienced profound change: my daily back pain eased, my posture improved, and my overall sense of wellbeing and outlook on life became brighter and more hopeful. My connection to this work deepened further after watching Dr Carli Axford speak about her experience at the Texas Back Institute, where she helped patients with scoliosis—something I also live with—avoid surgery. Her explanation of the link between scoliosis and childhood emotional trauma gave me new understanding and renewed hope in my own healing journey.
I went on to complete my training with Dr Carli Axford, and today my mission is to share Spinal Flow with others who may be facing similar challenges. By offering the wisdom of Reiki Jin Kei Do alongside the Spinal Flow Technique, I aim to support people in reconnecting with their own inner healing, finding greater health, and experiencing more ease, freedom, and balance in their bodies and minds.
